SOAP BUNDLING MACHINES
Soap bundling machines, also known as soap over-wrappers, pack multiple soap bars together in multipacks (soap bundles). They use transparent or printed polypropylene film to create different multipacks configurations according to the number and orientation of soap bars.

Soap bundling machines, also called soap over-wrappers, are used to pack multiple soap bars together in multipacks. They are suitable for packs containing 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 and more soap bars, which can be wrapped, cartoned or supplied as naked bars.
Soap Bundling Configurations
Soap bundlers can produce different multipack configurations according to the number of layers and the orientation of the soap bars. The arrangement of the bars therefore determines the final configuration of the multipack. This flexibility allows the same type of packaging technology to be used for different multipack formats according to the required number and arrangement of soap bars.
Soap Over-Wrapping Film
Soap bundlers normally use Polypropylene (PP) film supplied from a reel. The film can be:
- Transparent
- Printed
The film is used to create the external packaging around the group of soap bars, producing the finished soap multipack.
Soap Bundling Machine Production
High-speed soap bundling machines, also known as soap over-wrappers, are designed for the automatic packaging of multiple soap bars into multipacks. Depending on the machine configuration and the number and arrangement of soap bars in each bundle, production rates can reach up to approximately 100 multipacks per minute. The actual production speed of a soap bundling machine depends mainly on the configuration of the soap bundles. Bundles containing a greater number of soap bars or multiple layers require more time for product arrangement and over-wrapping. As the number of layers increases, the maximum production rate generally decreases.
Soap bundling machines can therefore be configured for different soap multipack formats, according to the number of bars and their arrangement within the package. This makes the soap over-wrapper suitable for different packaging requirements while maintaining automatic and continuous operation.
The combination of automatic soap bar feeding, multipack formation and polypropylene over-wrapping allows high-speed packaging of multiple soap bars in a single outer package. Production capacity is consequently an important parameter when selecting a soap bundler for industrial soap packaging. For high-volume soap production, the machine configuration must be matched to the required multipack format, number of soap bars per bundle and number of layers. A simpler multipack configuration can allow higher production rates, while more complex configurations may require a lower operating speed. In industrial soap packaging lines, soap bundling machines and over-wrappers provide an efficient solution for producing ready-to-handle multipacks of several soap bars, combining automatic product grouping with high-speed external packaging.
Soap Bundlers in the Packaging Line
Soap bundling machines are used downstream of the individual soap packaging operations. Depending on the required product configuration, the bundler can receive wrapped soap bars, cartoned soap bars or naked soap bars and combine them into the required multipack. A typical packaging sequence can therefore be represented as:
Soap Bars → Individual Packaging → Multipack Arrangement → Over-Wrapping → Finished Multipack
